Besides a name gracing the wall of many a college campus bathroom, Max Winston is a force like no other in the world of modern stop motion.
His talents can be seen in countless films and series like Robot Chicken, Spongebob Squarepants, Uncle Grandpa, Tumble Leaf, Community, and many others. He is also part of the genre bending band The Manx, whose new album is set to release in July of this year! Featuring the voice talents of Justin Roiland, their first video for the single Hateful Goo (directed by Winston) is a manic whirlwind of stop motion, practical effects, projection mapping, live action, and so many other insane techniques–we’re still trying to wrap our minds around it!
